Our Story

Lost Borneo Tours is a licensed adventure tour operator based in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Born out of a deep love for Borneo’s ancient rainforests, we set out to create a wildlife experience at Deramakot Forest Reserve that respects nature, uplifts local communities, and protects the forest we call home. As local guides who grew up around these jungles, our roots, culture, and daily life are closely connected to Deramakot’s unique ecosystem. Every trail, and wildlife sound tells a story — one we’ve learned over decades of living, exploring, and guiding in these forests.
